Carey Cooper

Carey is a serial entrepreneur who has served as the CEO and/or chairman of firms throughout the food & beverage & supply chain industries such as Redi-Cut Foods, Danaco Solutions, L3 Hospitality Group, Lagunita Franchise Operations and Chicagoland Equipment & Supply. He has served on several boards as a director or chairman, CES (Current Chairman), Lagunita Franchise Operations (Current Chairman), Edward Don & Co (Director), Maxi Canada-(DBA Dino Nuggets) (Director), Enjoy Life Foods (Director), L&L Foods (Director).

Carey is equally as passionate about philanthropy, having served as President of the North Suburban Jewish Community Center, Vice President of the National Fragile X Foundation, Jewish United Fund Annual Campaign Chair and President of the Board of Trustees for The Cove School in Northbrook, Illinois. He is currently a Board Member for the Jewish United Fund and a member of the Young Presidents Organization.

Carey has a BS from the University of Illinois with CPA designation, and a JD from Loyola University in Chicago.

Elliot Wheeler

Elliot Wheeler

Elliot joined Cooper Management in 2017. He currently serves as Cooper Management’s Chief Investment Officer. In his role, Elliot manages the Family’s asset allocation, strategic investment mandate, and evaluates investment opportunities. Elliot is currently a board member of Chicagoland Equipment & Supply and Lagunita Franchise Operations.

Prior to Cooper Management, Elliot worked in the Global Equities division of Citadel, a Chicago based hedge fund. Prior to Citadel, he worked at Freeman Spogli & Company, a Los Angeles based private equity firm. Elliot attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Kambria Pavich

Kambria Pavich

Kambria joined Cooper Management in July 2022 as Director of Finance. Her responsibilities include family office reporting and services, accounting, and coordination with external accountants, attorneys, and investment advisors to support the family in taking advantage of tax and estate planning and administration opportunities.

After attending DePaul University in Chicago, Kambria began her career at Andersen Tax in the Private Client Services area providing tax services to high-net-worth individuals. She then spent the next four years in a variety of roles including finance and client service at a Chicago based family office and registered investment advisor.

Carly Goldstein

Carly Goldstein

Carly joined Cooper Management in 2015. In her role, Carly handles the operations of the Family Office, which includes transaction documentation, family office reporting, document management and retention, family services, estate planning, family communication as well coordination of all essential functions of the Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to Cooper Management, Carly spent seven years at Chicago Public Schools in Teacher Recruitment, responsible for alternative certification programs and the U.S. Department of Education Grants that supported those programs. Following the birth of her twins and subsequent move to the suburbs, she worked part-time as the virtual administrator for Legal Netlink Alliance, a global legal referral network, for three years prior to returning to work full-time with Cooper Management. Carly attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.
